Food to Put On Our Faces For Acne

By Meghan

All I can say is egg whites! Don’t eat them, put it on your face. What I do is break open the egg and separate the yolk from the whites in a cup. I also take tissue paper and separate the layers of it so it is thinner. I put the pieces of tissue paper on my skin and with an old foundation brush I apply the egg white on top of it. This then becomes an at home blackhead remover. Then wait until the tissue paper is hard on the skin. Egg whites shrink pores and tighten up the skin! My skin honestly feels brand new when I peel the tissue paper off.

Another food for the skin that no one talks about is potato. Potato juices are great for applying to the skin to lighten acne scars, reduce swelling and exfoliate dry skin cells. I usually just take one potato and slice off the end piece. I rub this all over my face. I leave it on until I felt that it dried. While I let it dry I will cook the rest of the potato and eat it. Don’t want to waste anything!

Oatmeal is also another great pantry beauty. Oatmeal can actually help get rid of blackheads, cleanse the face and moisturize. All you have to do is get plain oatmeal and add water to it. Apply this to the face and wait about 10 to 15 minutes to wash it off.

Do this a few times a week and you should notice a difference!
