My Personal Experience With Proactiv Acne Medication July 07 2017, 0 Comments

You have heard of the #1 brand for acne, right? It's called Proactiv if you haven't heard of it. This product is another acne promises without results for my skin. I used the Proactiv acne medication for four months straight while following all the instructions given to me and using the right amounts. Nothing happened; my skin was the same. By the time I bought this product my acne was bad: I had pimples on my cheeks, my forehead, and my chin. My face was always oily and red with huge pimples. Also, the pimples began to leave scars which would not fade. My parents saw the commercial of Proactiv, and they thought this was my salvation. We bought a box for one month to see if it worked.

The kit in the picture is the exact kit I bought. During two weeks I used it, my parents said it might work because my skin started looking brighter. It was true, my skin was not as red as before. I had hope, I had hope in this product. However, I have to be honest about the purifying mask: I did not like it. I only used it once and it was enough. The next day I woke up with three new pimples which meant my skin did not like the mask. I kept using everything else while beginning to like it.

Of all the items, my favorite was the Complexion Perfecting Hydrator, so I wished I've had more of it. Sadly, it was a very small container of it for a whole month. The Pore Targeting Treatment left my skin fresh, but for just ten minutes after I used it.

Another month passed, so my parents decided to buy one more box which would last one more month. Very little improvement was seen. I did not get more pimples than usual, but I did not get fewer pimples than usual, either. By the end of the second month, my skin looked the same as the month before. Still, with hope, we bought a third box.

Probably, it became more of a habit to use the product. If anything great came out of my experience with Proactiv acne medication, it was beauty routine. I learned to have a routine for my skin, and, most importantly, I learned to stick with it. Therefore, we bought a fourth box. Obviously, by the end of the fourth month, I realized the product was not for me. Therefore, I decided to try something else.
