I am and always will be a huge fan of at home remedies for acne scarring. It’s so nice to be able to use everyday products to help get rid of your acne instead of having to run all around different stores searching for products.

One of the best at home product that I use is honey. You can really use hone for so many things and using it as a face mask is one of its best uses. About twice a week, I use some all natural honey and put it on my acne scars. I have seen a significant difference in my skin ever since I started using honey on my face.

Another I think I’ve always loved doing is using ice on my face. Now, I don’t really use this on scars, this is more of just when I have active acne, I take a few ice cubes and wrap it up in a wash cloth and let it sit on my face for a while. This tends to help with the redness of acne and it does shrink pimples.

Toothpaste is also another great product to use when you have active acne. I usually do this at night time and keep it on my face overnight. You don’t really need to use a lot of tooth paste, just enough to cover the pimple. This remedy has also worked with getting rid of the redness of pimples and shrinking them as well.

Water is also another great at home remedy. Keeping your body healthy is extremely important and makes a huge difference with the appearance of your skin. Staying hydrated has really made a huge improvement in my acne scarring. I try to drink at least 3 bottles of water a day and when I do not drink that much, my skin tends to get worse, so it is really important to make sure you drink lots of water.

Your diet also plays a huge role in the appearance of your skin. It is definitely really important to eat lots of vegetables if you want to keep your skin looking healthy. I definitely do have a problem with this because, I live in San Diego and we have some of the best food in the country and not all of it is healthy, so I definitely have to limit myself with greasy foods and replace it with vegetables.
