My Experience with Aztec Healing Clay December 30 2015, 0 Comments

Aztec Healing Clay was something that I used to use on my hair every now and then, I would mix it with Apple Cider Vinegar and let it sit for a while. When I read online that you could use it as a face mask, I was so happy because it did wonders with my hair! The only thing that I was worried about was the smell; Apple Cider Vinegar is not the best smelling thing around, so putting it on my face made me a little nervous.
The feeling of the mask can be a little uncomfortable at first because, it gets really really tight, to the point where you can barley smile or else the mask will crack, which is extremely painful! I kept it on for about 15 minutes and it was rock solid. I figured the easiest and cleanest way to get it off was to take a shower. It was a little difficult to get off because it was so dry, but I washed it off with some warm water. My face was so red afterwards it seriously looked like I was sun burnt. After the first use, I was pretty impressed.
My skin was extremely smooth and it made my face feel really clean! After about five uses, I began to get pimples all over my face, which I was not happy about. One of my terrible habits it picking at my pimples, so I began popping them and was left with scars. I figured that if I continued using the face mask, it would get rid of the scarring, but it only kept making my skin worse. After about a year of disappointment from using Aztec Healing Clay, I finally gave up on it and started to notice my face was actually getting better. It was not completely clear but I stopped getting pimples for a while.
Just to be sure that it was the face mask that made me breakout, I tried it out again and the next day, I had broken out again. So, as of 3 months ago, I haven’t used the Aztec Healing Clay and there has been a significant difference in my skin. All in all, the Aztec Healing Clay mask did nothing but make my skin worst. I really do not know how other people got it to work for them, but it definitely was not the right product for me.
