If you are the type of girl who owns a lot of makeup, this is the right blog post for you to read.  Taking care of your makeup is extremely important. It is what you will put on your face everyday so you should take good care of it. If your make up is expired, ruined, or dirty, you will pay the price with bad skin. Here are some tips:

  • Clean your make up brushes regularly
  • These brushes, you will be using on your face, so cleaning them regularly might be something you would want to do. If not, you might as well just be brushing dirt on your face. – Buy some brush cleanser solution or clean your brushes with makeup remover. If you don’t have the money to buy cleansing solution, you can use warm soapy water or use a bar of soap to brush off all the dirt and leftover makeup. After you clean it, it would be best for you to leave it flat on the table to dry.

  • Replacing your old make up
  • I know it's heartbreaking to throw away some of your most expensive make up that’s not all used up, but for your face’s sake, do it. Replace your old make up with new fresh ones, such as foundation, and especially your mascara and eyelash curler pad! Change it every three months. They can spread eye infections if it’s dirty.

  • Store your make up properly
  • Store your make up in a cool dry place. Don’t let it out in the sun, or freeze in the snow. So don’t keep your make up in the bathroom, as the temperature rises and drops inside your bathroom.

  • Clean your make up bag
  • Cleaning your makeup bag or whatever you put your make up in is important. Your makeup bag will get dirty really fast, so dump it in your washing machine to get it washed. If you are in a hurry and don’t have time to wash it and dry it, just use a wet wipe and wipe away any make up that has been left in your make up bag.  Try to do so once or twice a month.
